Administrative Champions
The Department of Public Health Executive Staff are taking an active role in the accreditation process. They meet on a regular basis with the Accreditation Coordinator to review the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) requirements and stay updated on department progress. Additionally, they each serve as an Administrative Champion on at least one Domain. As an Administrative Champion they are responsible for reviewing all of the documents that have been approved by the Domain Champion and providing feedback about the document’s strength, weakness, or opportunity for improvement. The support of the Executive Staff has been critical in keeping the department on task and their assistance is very much appreciated.

Domain Champions
Many of the Department of Public Health Leadership staff have been selected to be Domain Champions during the accreditation process. As a Domain Champion, they are tasked with reviewing all of the documentation that is submitted for their domain.
They are responsible for attending trainings, adhering to timelines and will ultimately be the representative selected to speak about the documentation with the Site Visitors. They are all to be commended for their participation in the accreditation process.

Subject Matter Experts
Many DPH Staff have been selected to participate in the accreditation process. Each program has dedicated Subject Matter Experts who are responsible for collecting relevant documentation and uploading all of the documentation into SharePoint, which currently serves as the department’s document collection library. This is a department-wide effort, which involved staff at all levels. Your cooperation and assistance is appreciated!
